Rising prices across the wider energy complex bolstered EU emissions trading scheme (ETS) allowances on Wednesday. Allowance prices could continue to inch up, unless industrials materialise or we have some economic disaster the probability of both seems low right now, The December 2010 allowance contract reported gains of €0.13/t CO2e day-on-day, closing €0.05 above the key €13.25/t CO2e support level.
