Coal Market News Summary
After a trading day of relatively high interest, European API2 coal swaps finished above their previous settlement levels. Prompt physical coal cargoes for delivery into Europe or FOB South Africa's Richards Bay also moved up, posting slight gains after a day dominated by index-linked trades as market participants returning from holidays made trades linked to the API indices.
